Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves up by $12.6 million

The country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves surged by $12.6 million to $9.51 billion during last week, the central bank said. According to the State Bank of Pakistan's weekly report, reserves held by SBP fell by $74.9 million to $4.224 billion as on November 1, 2013 compared to $4.29 billion as on October 25, 2013. However, reserve held by banks witnessed increase moving up by $87.5 million to $5.285 billion during last week.
