Punjab Minister for Excise and Taxation, Finance Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said campaign against dengue fever is a continued effort and "we will uphold this campaign against the curse till its end." He expressed these views while visiting dengue patient's wards in Mayo Hospital today.
The Minister inquired about the health condition of the patients and about the diagnostic as well as treatment procedure from the patients. The patients told the Minister that treatment and test facilities are being provided from the hospital administration without any cost.
Mujtaba said free of cost treatment facilities are being provided to the dengue patients in public sector hospitals and provincial ministers and elected representatives are monitoring these medical treatment facilities. Meanwhile, visiting various places at Shadbagh, Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman appealed the shopkeepers and residents that water should not be stagnant at streets and directed the Town administration to sent spray teams so that to eliminate the dengue mosquito. He said "Chief Minister's Qadam Barhao, Dengue Mukao" campaign is being succeeded with the co-operation of students, youth, party workers and common citizens and the campaign is continued.
