Danish minister visits FCCI

"Denmark Embassy will enhance co-ordination with Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) to further facilitate business community and to increase bilateral trade, Denmark ambassador will visit FCCI in January 2014." FCCI President Engr Suhail Bin Rashid said this while meeting with Danish Minister for Development Co-operation, Christian Friis Bach during his visit to FCCI. Danish Ambassador in Pakistan, Jesper Moller Sorensen was also present on the occasion.
He informed that the Danish minister appreciated the business community of Pakistan as quite vibrant, hardworking. The Danish minister said that they are opening full time commercial section in Denmark Embassy in Islamabad. He asked the Danish minister for more investment in Pakistan and also emphasised that being market leader in energy renewable resource, Danish investors should invest in energy sector to overcome the power crisis in Pakistan. He said that during the meeting he appreciated Denmark minister for enhancing financial assistance to Pakistan and urged for setting up of water treatment plants in Faisalabad.
