Sindh ready to hold LB polls as per Supreme Court directives: Qaim

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the provincial government is ready to hold local bodies' elections as per directives of the Supreme Court. He was presiding over a meeting regarding preparations for LB elections, here at the Chief Minister's House on Thursday.
Senior Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Sikandar Mendhro, Advisor to CM Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Aijaz, Secretary Local Government Ali Ahmed Lund, Advocate General Sindh Khalid Javed and other officials attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to remain in contact with the election commission to get updated information and also complete the process within the schedule. Considering the shortage of time, the Chief Minister declared the next Saturday and Sunday as working days and directed the officials to attend their duties to ensure completion of the process within schedule.
