Avari Towers and Italian Consulate on Friday announced to organise the Italian culinary week from November 17 to November 21 (Sunday to Wednesday) at Asia Live restaurant. Addressing a joint press conference at Avari Towers, Consul General Italy, Roberto Franceschinis, unfolded the "Italian Classic" schedule, which they expect to be "special".
Roberto Franceschinis thanked the event sponsors including Barclays Pakistan and Qatar Airways. He said the Italian Consulate is holding the cultural, musical and food event in collaboration with Avari Towers."Italian culture and music is gathering here in Pakistan," he said, adding that national academy of performing arts is among the main sponsors of the event which will organise music and performing arts like opera classics.
He said Italy wants to be the beacon of soft diplomacy to develop fraternity, peace and understanding in the world. "This will be expressed in upcoming concert," he said, adding that the consulate will introduce the Italian music and opera classic during the event. "I hope you will appreciate it with us," said the Consul General. General Manager Avari Towers, Peter Forsyth hoped "it [the event] is going to be something special.
