KPK cabinet corruption issue: PML-N not to move no trust against PTI government

PML-N, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced not to bring no-confidence motion against the PTI-led government in the provincial assembly to press for action against the corrupt elements in the provincial cabinet. Addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club, General Secretary PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, Rahmat Salam Khattak, appreciated the PTI chief Imran Khan for taking notice of the corruption of certain provincial ministers and advisors in the provincial cabinet.
However, he expressed dissatisfaction over investigation through Chief Minister Pervez Khattak against the corrupt and termed it as tantamount to deceiving masses. Khattak, was flanked by provincial vice president, Afzal Khan, district general secretary, Sifatullah and youth wing president, Sardar Mohmand.He said he knows how a chief minister, who has taken these ministers and advisors in his cabinet, can take action for their alleged corruption.
The PTI-led provincial government, he said even does not enjoy a simple majority in the provincial legislature that's why Pervez Khattak would not take risk of losing his government, added. He demanded conducting of independent judicial inquiry or through Transparency International (TI) as any big personality could influence the process.
