Potential threats: rescue 1122, health department to remain on high alert

The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) will remain on high alert during 9th & 10th of Muharram while the leaves of rescuers have been cancelled all over the Punjab. DG Rescue Punjab Dr Rizwan Naseer has directed all the District Emergency Officers (DEOs) to ensure foolproof emergency cover during 9th & 10th of Muharram in view of the potential threats.
While presiding over a meeting of rescue officers/officials at Rescue 1122's Headquarters on Wednesday. Moreover, Punjab Health Department has directed administration of all government hospitals to remain alert and make all necessary arrangements in order to combat any emergency situation on the 9th and 10th of Muharram. Principals/Heads of medical colleges, teaching hospitals, autonomous medical institutions, DHQs and THQs hospitals and EDOs Health of all districts have been asked to ensure complete implementation of the medical cover plan.
