Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday registered a case against Sindh Minister Makhdoom Jameel-uz-Zaman and 13 others over misuse of funds and took four accused into custody. According to the FIA Assistant Director Dr Muhammad Anwar, the case was registered against the provincial minister and other accused over charges of misappropriation of Rs 75 million in development funds.
Other accused included former DC Matiyari Shahid Zafar Leghari, Kashif Memon, personal secretary of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Assistant Director LG Nooruddin Memon and other high officials. The FIA has arrested four accused including Kashif Memon, Nooruddin Sanai, Ghulam Mustafa Sanai and Waliullah Bhutto.
