On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, state-of-the-art medical treatment facilities have been provided at Government Shahdrah Hospital and CT scan and Dialysis Units have started functioning there. This was disclosed by Special Secretary Health Punjab Babar Hayat Tarar during his visit to Government Shahdrah Hospital.
Babar Hayat Tarar inquired after the health of two dengue patients in dengue ward and reviewed treatment facilities there. He also inquired from the patients, admitted in the dengue ward, about the facilities being provided to them. The patients informed Special Secretary Health that all medicines and treatment facilities are being provided to them free of cost.
Medical Superintendent Dr Aasim Hameed informed the Special Secretary Health that about 200 tests are conducted daily in hospital laboratory besides modern machines of CT scan and Dialysis Units have also been made functional. Babar Hayat Tarar expressed his satisfaction over the facilities being provided in the hospital and directed to take special care of dengue patients.
