IEEEP 34th convention on November 18

The 34th Convention/Annual General Meeting of the Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP), the only recognised forum representing over 59,000 engineers, will be inaugurated by Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Governor Punjab on 18th November at Lahore. The Federal Minister for Planning & Development Ahsan Iqbal will be the Guest of Honour on this occasion.
All the IEEEP office-bearers, Fellows & Members will be attending this convention. Eminent Engineers and delegates from all-over Pakistan, representing major organisations like Wapda, Kepco, Hubco, Siemens, PEL, KESC, PAEC, OGDC, PTCL etc, will also be participated. In addition, industry and corporate sector would also be appropriately represented.
Various regular activities will take place all morning, followed by a highly informative seminar explaining the Service Rules for Engineers in Pakistan by Engr. Amir Zamir Khan and recommendations on the Power Policy 2013 by Engr Tahir Basharat Cheema. Engr N.A Zuberi of the PPIB would present a paper on the upcoming Gadani Power Park. Shields and mementos will be awarded to the eminent engineers and professionals who have excelled in their fields.
