Video link system launched at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister secretariat

Video link system has been launched at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. The Directorate of Information Technology, Bilal Jabbar installed this system with cost of Rs 35 million. KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak formally inaugurated the video link system by holding live videoconferencing with Commissioners of Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan simultaneously to review the security arrangements for Muharram.
Ashfaq Khan, Principal Secretary to CM, was also present on this occasion. Initially in the first phase, the video conferencing facility has been provided to CM Secretariat Peshawar, Cabinet Room Civil Secretariat, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary P&D, Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs Department and all Divisional Commissioners wherein the CM can contact them anytime with the additional facility of data transfer as well. The Deputy Commissioners throughout the province were also being linked with the system in the second phase. Through this facility CM can chair meeting with all the authorities simultaneously and can also transfer data or file works.
