Aviation products: Pakistan achieves manufacturing capability: Minister

Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain on Sunday said that Pakistan has achieved state of the art capability in manufacturing all sorts of aviation products. The Minister said that indigenous production of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak (primary trainer aircraft) were manifestation of Pakistan''s great stride in aviation technology.
He was talking to Jeff Kohler, Vice President Boeing Company during his visit to the Dubai Air Show 2013. The minister visited stalls of PAC Kamara, EADS, Cassidian, Eurocopter, Diehl-Raytheon, Transworld Aviation and Boeing after attending the opening ceremony of air show at Dubai World Trade Center, says a press release received here from Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He also suggested to Kohler that Pakistan could manufacture parts for the Boeing Company. He expressed the hope that Pakistan would get new orders for its aviation products during the exhibition.
Rana Tanvir has arrived to Dubai Air Show exhibition for promoting sales of Pakistani aircraft and aviation products.
During visit of other exhibitors'' stalls, Defence Production Minister Rana Tanvir Hussain met Abdullah K. Al Suleimany, Chairman Transworld, Pascal Lesaulnier, Vice President Middle East EADS International, Philippe Minot, Head of Sales of Eurocopter and Fabrice Feydel, Director International Sales Cassidian. He discussed possibilities of co-operation and joint ventures with them.
