Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid has said that Kuwait will soon relax its visa policy for Pakistanis. Talking to the media persons, he said that Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jabar Al-Mubarak Hamid Al-Sabah recently visited Pakistan and the visit would be helpful in strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The Minister said visa relaxation for Pakistanis would help Pakistan to accommodate its unemployed citizens to get jobs in Kuwait. He said Kuwait never left Pakistan alone in hard times and always recognised it integrity, and independence. He said that Pakistan had become one of the big countries exporting Halal meat, which included 42 countries.
MPA Munawwar Ali Gill, Chairman Planning and Development Committee Pasrur Professor Shehzad Ahmed Butt, Asst. Commissioner Touqeer Ilyas Cheema and others were also present on the occasion.
