Soon-to-be-royal Meghan Markle made her last appearance in the season finale of legal drama series Suits, weeks before she ties the knot with Prince Harry on May 19.
Meghan had been a part of the American TV series since it premiered in 2011. Meghan’s character Rachel Zane played a senior paralegal at one of the country’s finest law firms. The actress bids farewell to TV with her final appearance on the series’ seventh season finale on Wednesday.
In the two-hour long episode titled 'Good-Bye', Meghan’s character married her long-time boyfriend and fiancé Mike Ross, played by Canadian actor Patrick J. Adams. The reel wedding was organized quickly and the two were to move to another city once married for their new jobs.

It was also Patrick’s last time on the show, which he announced over social media on the day the finale aired.
Tonight my last episode of #Suits ever is airing. Weird. Hope it doesn't disappoint. Thank you to everyone who turned an audition into 7 surreal years of my life. Hope you enjoy it. I know I have. Peace.

Reminiscing their time together, lead actor Gabriel Macht, whose character works closely with Patrick’s character and are also friends in the show, said he will miss working with Patrick and Meghan over Twitter.

The show’s creator Aaron Korsh too had few words about Meghan’s farewell. “I would say it was emotional. I remember having a really fun talk with Meghan as we were setting up to shoot the wedding and we were just wrapping up our time together,” BBC quoted Aaron.
With two main actors exiting, the series is up for a huge shakeup. However, new actors are going to join the Suits family in the next season including popular American actress Katherine Heigl.
