NH&MP reunites runaway children, recovers kidnapped girl

National Highways & Motorway Police has reunited 03 lost/runaway children and one kidnapped girl with their parents and also arrested one kidnapper. As per details, Zahoor Ahmed driver of a corolla car No LEJ-4556 informed the NH&MP officers that my sister namely Shakeela Maqbool aged 13 years has been kidnapped by Muhammad Ahmed s/o Ghulam Rasool and he is travelling in coaster No E-4350 going towards Haveli Nu Lakha and requested for help to stop the said coaster, according to a press release issued by NH&MP police here on Tuesday.
On receiving this information, The NH&MP officers SPO Muhammad Saleem, SPO Muhammad Azeem and PO Muhammad Amin succeed to stop the said coaster through commando action on GT Road in the area of Renala Khurd. The NH&MP officers took the girl into their safe custody who informed that Muhammad Ahmed is forcibly taking her with him. The kidnapper was arrested and handed over to local police. In 2nd incident, NH&MP officers PO Mumtaz Bhatti was on patrolling duty on GT Road in the area of Maraka, a hawker of Haroon Adda handed over a lost child. On asking, the child informed that his name is Ali Faraz s/o Muhammad Yar Wattoo and living in Faisalabad and due to dispute with his parents, he ran away from home.
The NH&MP officers took the child into their safe custody and after hectic efforts succeeded to search his parents. Later on after due verification, he was handed over to his father. In 3rd incident, A child namely Jamshed s/o Talib Hussain, aged 10 years r/o Defence Lahore, informed the NH&MP Lahore Guidance Centre that he ran away from home due to some dispute with his parents and now going to his sister's home at Khairpur Tamewali.
NH&MP officers SPO Nasir Ali and PO Muhammad Ali Masood took the child into their safe custody. After proper counselling of the child, he was handed over to his mother Mukhtaran Bibi. In 4th incident, NH&MP officers SPO Javed, PO Asif Nisar and Lady PO Saima Naseer saw a 13-year-old boy who was weeping on hard shoulder on motorway (M-2) in the area of Sheikhupura, he informed his name as Sohaib s/o Abdullah and said that he is studying in a Madrasa Taj Pura, Lahore. The NH&MP officers took him in safe custody and informed his father.
The boy was handed over to his father, who thanked the officers of motorway police for this great favour. The NH&MP Officers handed over these children to their parents after due verification. In this regard, different methods & media were used in tracing the parents of these recovered children. However, the desperate faces of the parents of these children were filled with happiness when the Motorway Police officers reunited these children with them. They and the people of the area really thanked and appreciated the efforts of the officers of NH&MP on doing this sacred job.
