The supplementary examinations held for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) concluded in the city on Friday in a peaceful manner with no report of any untoward incident in any of the 95 designated examination centres. Around 3,000 candidates appeared in the SSC (Supplementary) Exams for 2013 that began in the city on November 4 were conducted in two shifts with 50 examination centres for boys and 45 for girls candidates.
Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui in a briefing congratulated SSC Board, Fahimuddin Khan for smooth procedure and absolute peaceful atmosphere provided to the candidates. He said administration is also cognisant of its responsibilities to ensure uninterrupted provision for power and water supply to the designated examination centres.
