Muttahida Qaumi Movement Quaid Altaf Hussain on Saturday dared all the political and religious parties to categorically call Taliban enemies of humanity, a local TV channel reported. "All those who are protesting against US drone attacks by staging sit-ins to block supplies to US-Nato forces based in Afghanistan are trying to cover up Taliban's heinous crimes against humanity," he said in a statement issued here.
According to the channel, Altaf said Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) proudly took credit for the twin bomb blasts in Ancholi. "No pro-Taliban party had the courage to condemn the barbarity of militant outfit, which killed seven people," Altaf said. He demanded of the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister to come clean on it leaving behind the politics of falsehood.
FAROOQ SATTAR: Speaking at a ceremony held in connection with the Friday's Ancholi blast, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that terrorists took revenge of Hangu drone attack by carrying out attack in Karachi. He also criticised the KP government for lodging an FIR of Hangu drone attack against unknown persons. Farooq Sattar said according to the FIR five of the deceased killed in the drone attack were foreign nationals. He said as to why those who were staging sit-in against the killing of foreigners had not protested killing of Pakistanis.
