At least 15 persons, including five school-going children, lost their lives in two separate road mishaps near Sehwan and Gujranwala cities on Tuesday. Police and rescue officials said the first incident occurred near Bhan Saeedabad Town of Sehwan district, Sindh, where a train hit a rickshaw at the railway crossing. At least eight persons, including five children died on the spot and three succumbed to injuries at a hospital.
The second incident was reported near Gujranwala, Punjab, where a speeding passenger bus collided with a rickshaw, killing all four persons on board. Rescue teams said a woman was also among the deceased.
