27 Nov, 2013

Secretary General Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Liaquat Baloch has claimed that federal cabinet is victim of rifts and difference itself, and unable to resolve problems faced by country and people. Talking to media persons on Tuesday, Liaquat Baloch said that poor governance and anti-state policies of federal government are adversely hurting the sovereignty and stability of the country.
He said that US drone strikes on the occasion of initiation of peace dialogue and recent attack on a seminary in Hangu, a settled area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have resulted in surge in terrorism and extremism. The secretary general said that his party in cooperation with others was making efforts to stop Nato supplies and federal government should also halt the Nato supplies till the US ends drone strikes.
He said that absence of defence and foreign ministers shows the slackness and weakness of the government to resolve the national issues. Baloch said that if government takes any step to shoot down the US drones then entire nation will back it over the issue.
