Food Street: efforts on to open closed routes

Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab on Political Affairs Afzaal Bhatti has said that appropriate steps should be taken for opening the closed routes of Food Street Old Anarkali. Afzaal Bhatti, while talking to a six-member delegation of Anjuman-e-Tajiran Food Street led by its President Shakeel-ur-Rehman that called on him in his office, said that Punjab government was making efforts for providing facilities and resolving problems of traders' community.
He said a number of projects were being launched for providing relief to the people, adding project of targeted subsidy for lessening the burden of price-hike would soon be launched.
The members of the delegation informed Afzaal Bhatti about the problems created due to the closure of routes of Food Street Old Anarkali.
Afzaal Bhatti directed the administration to take suitable legal measures for opening the routes of Food Street Old Anarkali. Meanwhile, PML-N workers from Dera Ismail Khan also met Secretary to CM on Political Affairs Afzaal Bhatti.
