A Chinese Parliamentary Delegation led by Madam Shen Yueyue, Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress will arrive in Islamabad today (Thursday) on a three-day official visit to Pakistan. Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi and senior officials of the National Assembly Secretariat will receive the delegation at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
The delegation comprises senior members and officials of the Chinese National People's Congress. The Chinese Parliamentarians during their stay in Islamabad would be calling on President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Speaker National Assembly and Chairman Senate besides meeting with their Pakistani counterparts.
The interaction between parliamentarians is continuation of the pledge of Pakistani and Chinese leadership to further consolidate the time immemorial brotherly ties between both the nations. -PR
