One hundred Toyota Corolla (Altis) cars manufactured by Indus Motors Pakistan were handed over to the Sri Lankan Police and the Armed Forces in a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development Sri Lanka. The Secretary Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa was the chief guest at the ceremony which was also attended by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Colombo Major General Qasim Qureshi (retd), Sri Lankan Army Commander Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake and Inspector General of Police Sri Lanka, NK Illangakoon.
