The total import cargo volume of 47,341 tonnes comprised of 18,448 tonnes of furnace oil; 13,500 tonnes of canola seeds oil and 15,393 tonnes of containerised cargo were handled during the business activity hours of the port on Friday.
The total export cargo volume of 32,896 tonnes comprised of 11,119 tonnes of cement cargo and 21,777 tonnes of containerised cargo were handled during the reported period of activities on Friday. There were four cargo vessels namely Azizoo, Juemme Trader, Blue Sea and OOCL Kobe sailed out to the sea on Friday morning.
A total number of five cargo vessels namely OOCL Kobe, Juemme Trader, Yasa Aysen, Fratzescos and Blue Sea were currently occupying the berths to load/offload containerised cargo, cement cargo, canola seed oil and furnace oil respectively during the last 24 hours of business activities at the port on Friday.
There were six vessels namely M T Al Soor-II, M T Karachi, M T Nord Tradition, Feng Hai-32, MSC Kerry and M T Rio De La Plata carrying diesel oil, furnace oil, cement, edible oil and containers were currently to line up at the outer anchorage during the Business activity hours on Friday. A total number of three cargo vessels namely C V M T Rio De La Plata, MSC Kerry and Al-Soor-II carrying containerised cargo and diesel oil respectively were expected to arrive at Qasim International Containers Terminal.
