Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Saturday said that gunship helicopter attack on Taliban in North Waziristan Agency was a decision of military leadership, however he asked the government to take decisive decision against Taliban without wasting time. Talking to media persons at his house here, he said that there was no advantage to hold talks with Taliban and the government should immediately decide to launch operation against the militants.
He said that the country would face more unbearable loses if the government did not make decision in this regard. The Opposition Leader said that his party would support the government's decision as PPP supported peace negotiation with the Taliban, adding that the people saw the result of talks. Khurshid said that the intelligence agencies have informed hideouts of Taliban. He also said the former president Pervez Musharraf can not be indicted on charge of his action of November 03 because he took the action as chief of army staff and not as President.
