Two dacoits were killed and one injured in a police encounter near Bahawalpur bypass on Tuesday, said police. According to details, four dacoits riding a white car robbed a house in Al-Quresh town and fled to city exit point, when police sealed all entrance and exit and dacoits were intercepted near Bahawalpur bypass, said SDPO Maqbool Jatt.
He said two dacoits were injured critically in exchange of firing with elite force. Two of them died on their way to Nishtar hospital leaving third one injured. The fourth accomplice managed to escape by snatching a bike from a citizen.
