MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has condemned the attack on the convoy of security forces in Hungo in the strongest possible terms.
In a statement released from London Hussain said, "Terrorists are carrying out their brazen attacks. Their subversive attacks are growing at an alarming rate. The continued campaign terror and martyrdoms of personnel of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies put a question mark on the performance of the government. The government should initiate investigation into the attacks to know whether Taliban are carrying out these attacks despite cease-fire and massacring people in order to achieve their goals."
Hussain demanded action from the president, the prime minister and the federal interior minister against the terrorists responsible for Hungo attack and security arrangement for the protection of defence installations, life and property of citizens.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the wounded persons.
