The permission to import Pakistani poultry products to Saudi Arabia would help enhancing investments in the sector and help boost economic activities, Chairman Pakistan Poultry Association Dr. Muhammad Aslam said.
In a statement, he said the decision to import poultry product to Saudi Arabia has been made after the Saudi delegation's visit to Pakistan. Dr Muhammad Aslam said the delegation visited poultry farms, hatcheries and feed mills located in different locations of Pakistan and after successful meetings with the representatives of Pakistan Poultry Association and government officials, the technical experts of Saudi delegation declared poultry products of Pakistan according to the international standard.
The Chairman PPA said that on the recommendations of Saudi delegation, Saudi government has permitted for export of chicken, hatching eggs and day old chicks from Pakistan.
Dr. Muhammad Aslam expressed his gratitude to Saudi government, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Food Security and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan for their active support and co-operation for export of poultry products to Saudia.
