It looks like Shahid Afridi hasn’t recovered from his knee injury that he sustained during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3.
Former Pakistan captain watched a few matches of PSL3 from the bench as he was forced to be out of action due to knee injury after helping his side Karachi Kings to three consecutive wins.
Following the injury, Afridi tweeted, “My apologies to all my fans who came to watch me play today. Getting an MRI done for my knee. Need your prayers. Will get back soon Inshallah.”
Now, despite over a month, it looks like the 38-year-old all-rounder still requires another three to four weeks to recover from the injury.
Giving an update on his injury, Afridi once again tweeted, “Went to see my doctor in Dubai. The knee hasn’t recovered fully yet. I'll need another three to four weeks. Hoping to regain full fitness after that, keep praying for me.”
