The farmhouse of former president General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) at Chak Shahzad has been declared a satellite facility of the Military Hospital, ex-president's International spokesperson said here Thursday. In a statement, Dr Raza Bokhari said the former president is under constant supervision of a team of qualified military doctors.
A flying medical squad is assigned to the farm house and is capable of transporting him back to AFIC when needed. He further said "We are relieved to confirm former president Musharraf, who was a target of a terrorist attack earlier today, is safe and has been relocated from the prestigious Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) to his farmhouse on the outskirts of Islamabad".
