A doctor was killed while a body was recovered in metropolis, here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue, Dr Qasim Abbas son of Ghulam Abbas was shot and killed by motorcyclists in the jurisdictions of Yousaf Palaza police station. SHO Irfan said that the incident took place when Dr Qasim was on the way of his home from his private clinic. Two motorcyclists intercepted his vehicle near Yousaf Plaza, opened multiple fires on him and fled from the scene.
Resultantly, he succumbed to the injuries. Salimuddin son of Azimuddin, who was also travelling along with doctor in the vehicle sustained bullet wound. The body and injured were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities and treatment.
