The feature is currently under testing and is for now available for selected users, with expectations to be publicly available soon. Also the feature should be available for all the group members in order to carry out group video calls.

The feature was initially announced at parent company Facebook’s annual developers conference, F8. For checking if the user got their feature, they can make a normal video call. If they have the feature, an option of ‘add participants’ will automatically appear, explained Business Today.

Number of other updates was announced by the social app as well for group chats including group descriptions, admin rights, group catch on, and ability to play YouTube and Facebook videos within the app.
