The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Council of Saudi Chambers will hold a Pakistan Single Country Show in Saudi Arabia. This was stated by Khurram Sayeed, Vice President FPCCI at the conclusion of meeting between the members of the Pak Saudi Joint Business Council which was chaired by the Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan.
A large number of businessmen from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan attended the meeting. The Saudi side was led by the Vice Chairman Council of Saudi Chambers Fahad M. Al-Rabiah while Pakistan side by Khurram Sayeed who also represented FPCCI at the10th Pak Saudi Joint Ministerial Commission meeting.
They also agreed to hold regular meetings of the Joint Business Council with the next meeting expected within 3 months. The council also suggested grant of one year multiple Visa to Pakistani businessmen on the recommendations of the council and to address the issue of prior permission from the Saudi Ministry of Interior for the Saudi businessmen who wish to visit Pakistan, specially, during the expo Pakistan. The members from the Saudi side suggested that Pakistan businessmen should also avail the benefits of the financing being provided by the Saudi Export Programme. It was also agreed that more sectoral specific exchange of delegations will take place in the coming months and the council will play the leading role in increasing bi lateral trade and investments between the two countries.-PR
