The official website of Rawalpindi Police on Thursday allegedly hacked by a group of hackers supporting Taliban. The website was defaced by a group that calls itself 'Anti-Mortadin'. In their message, the group claimed that the hacking was a 'victory for the Taliban. Hacker published pro Taliban slogans along with photos of its leaders and few other videos.
A senior police official said that Rawalpindi Police website has been hacked. The IT wing of police have started removing information from the website and also blocking further access to the website. The official website of contained general information about Rawalpindi police for public guidance and there was no secret information, he said.
