The business community of Hyderabad are facing problems in carrying out their business activities because the users' telephone numbers have been changed due to the introduction of Fiber Optical Telephone lines. According to details, complaints are being received by the businessmen from "Paka Qila" and "Shahi Bazaar" areas in Hyderabad city which is the hub of business activities there.
Aside from this, there are more than 400 telephone lines which are out of order due to various reasons despite of repeated complaints lodged with the officials of the PTCL by the community but no initiative has been taken in this regard so far.
They said that the facility of internet has also been suspended because of that reason.
They have demanded the restoration of the old numbers of telephone.
"If it were not possible due to technical reasons, some common numbers might be added to the old telephone numbers of the customers for carrying business activities smoothly," they added.
They further demanded an action against irresponsible officials of the PTCL deputed in Hyderabad.
