Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has not only impressed with his bowling and fielding but has once again showed a great temperament with the bat as he played crucial knock of 52 against England on day-2 of Lord’s Test.
With the departure of in-form Babar Azam (68) due to injury, Pakistan were in desperate need of a good partnership. Both Shadab and Faheem Ashraf, who rescued Pakistan against Ireland, again got themselves going with the bat as they put on 72 for the seventh wicket.
Faheem was unlucky as he dragged bowl on to the stumps, while Shadab continued to bat and completed yet another half century. With this half century, Shadab also became the youngest batsman to score a Test fifty at Lord's in 79 years.
