The Parliamentary Committee on Judges Appointment (PCJA) on Wednesday unanimously confirmed the nomination of Judicial Commission of Pakistan for appointment of Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, former judge of Supreme Court as Chief Justice, Federal Shariat Court (FSC). Senator Malik M Rafique Rajwana presided the meeting of Parliamentary Committee on Judges held here in Parliament House.
The Parliamentary Committee also approved the nominations of four lawyers namely Amer Raza Naqvi, Syed Saeeduddin Nasir, Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro and Shahab Sarki for appointment as Additional Judges of Sindh High Court. The meeting was attended by Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq, Senator Farooq Hamid Naek, Senator Haji Muhammad Adeel, Muhammad Arshad Khan Leghari, MNA and Amjad Pervez, Secretary Senate.
