The overall user interface and functionality of the feature is likely to remain the same as usual. As per the tweet, the feature is available for iPhone version 2.18.60 and has been updated by only a few users. The feature is yet to arrive on the normal WhatsApp version.
The version of WhatsApp beta also brings in ‘Select All’ feature for Android users that lets users easily select all messages and then mark them read/unread, archive or delete all the chats with a single tap, reported BGR.
The same WhatsApp beta version also received ‘Request Account Info’ feature earlier this week that lets user to request for their account information and settings and download all the account data of WhatsApp.
Moreover, parent company Facebook too introduced a new feature that will let users share any form of the post directly to WhatsApp. The report by Express.co stated that when users press the ‘Share’ option of any post, they normally see options including Share Now (Friends), Share on a Friend’s Timeline, Share to a Page, and Share post in Message.
Some beta testers have now reported that Facebook has added another ‘Send to WhatsApp’ option alongside the aforementioned options. However, Facebook has not given any confirmation yet.
