Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif rejected the proposal of imposing Infrastructure Development Cess (IDC) in the new budget of the province. He made it clear to the concerned authorities that promotion of industrial development was one of the top priorities of the government. He further added that imposition of IDC could affect the rapidness of industrial process.
