Japan Ambassador hosts reception for journalists

The Ambassador of Japan Hiroshi Inomata and his wife hosted a reception in honour of media persons at their residence on Wednesday. In his welcome remarks, the Ambassador said that he had arranged the reception to hold interaction with media persons.
Referring to a recent address of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the 13th Asian Security Summit, the ambassador said that Prime Minister said that Japan intended to play more proactive role in making peace in Asia and the world. Japan had its first comprehensive and strategic policy on national security completed in December 2013. It outlines Japan's intentions and the approach it will take, as a major and responsible player, to contribute more proactively to the peace, stability and prosperity of the international community, while maintaining its fundamental peaceful orientation. Visiting media persons had a group photo session with the ambassador. Later, Sushi and traditional Pakistani food were served.
