Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has been in headlines since a long time but it was still not clear when the smartphone will be launched, until now.
Sources, on request on anonymity, told Bloomberg that the much awaited device will finally be unveiled on August 9 along with an updated camera and an upgraded processor for some markets. The design, however, will be similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8.
The updated camera might indicate that the phone will get the same dual-aperture as was seen in the Samsung Galaxy S9 launches earlier this year. The upgraded processor hints at the new Qualcomm processor, most likely the Snapdragon 845.
Galaxy Note 9 might feature massive storage capacities
Also, Samsung users can also expect Bixby 2.0 that will reportedly debut on Galaxy Note 9. The device will be unveiled on Samsung’s ‘Unpacked’ event that will be held in New York City. The phone though will be released by the end of August, said the people familiar with the matter.
However, as per The Verge, nothing is confirmed and plans can still change around the announcement date. A Samsung spokesperson declined to comment about the event.
