Yaum-e-Ali (RA) observed amid tight security

The Yaum-e-Ali (RA) was observed throughout the country on Sunday with solemnity amid strict security measures. Different organisations arranged functions to highlight the life and achievements of the fourth caliph of Islam.
Airtight stringent security measures were in place in different cities and towns to avoid any untoward incident.
The procession in Islamabad was taken out early morning from Sector G-6/2 which concluded in G-6/4.
In Rawalpindi, the main procession was taken out from Mohanpura that concluded in Colonel Maqbool Hussain Imambargah.
In Lahore, the main procession was taken out from Mubarak Haveli that culminated at Karbala Gam-e-Shah. More than 10,000 police officers were deployed for ensuring security of the procession.
A control room was established to monitor the movement of the processions to avoid any untoward incident.
The main procession in Karachi was taken out at 1:00 pm from Nishtar Park, which culminated in Karadar. Strict security measures were taken to ensure safety of procession. Around 16,000 security personnel were deployed throughout the procession's route.
In Multan, the main procession was taken out from Chah Boharwala which concluded at Astana Lal Kurti after Zohar prayers.
In Quetta, strict security arrangements were made to ensure foolproof security of Yaum-e-Ali processions.
