Amin Fahim rules out mid-term polls in country

Senior PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim has ruled out the possibility of mid-term elections in the country. Talking to media persons, he has further clarified that the PPP would prefer to lead from the front instead of following someone for the option of mid-term polls.
According to him, exit of former President Pervez Musharraf has become a hard nut to crack and the hawks amongst the PML-N were confronting all efforts of striking out the name of Musharraf from the Exit Control List. He also criticised the government for not fulfilling the election pledges of ending the loadshedding and bringing down inflation. The miseries of general public are yet high, he said.
Referring to the politics of reconciliation by the former President Asif Zardari, he said all such efforts have been died down now and the politics of confrontation is prospering with every passing day. He also supported Zardari's statement of recounting in four constituencies in line with the demand of the PTI, saying that it was not an unjustified advice to the government to bring the national politics back to normalisation.
