ANF recovers narcotics, arrests 4

In its three strikes/operations at airports, bus-stands and highways in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad the Anti-Narcotics Force recovered 17 kilograms of Charas, heroin filled capsules, took possession of a vehicle and arrested four persons. According to ANF spokesman Colonel Habib, ANF arrested one Muhammad Jamil s/o Shad Muhammad r/o Khyber Agency near Niazi Bus-stand in Lahore and recovered 4.8 kilogram of Charas.
In another operation, the Force arrested one Idnan Ahmad son of Muhammad Pervaiz r/o Peshawar and recovered 12kg Charas from his car No LEE 8348. In Rawalpindi, the Force arrested two persons namely Muhammad Ashraf s/o Abdul Ghafoor r/o Gujranwala and Muhammad Farooq s/o Muhammad Ashraf r/o of Okara on the charges of smuggling heroin filled capsules. The accused were going abroad by flight No TG-350. ANF has registered cases against the accused at its police stations and holding further investigations, Colonel Habib added.
