Provincial Minister of Law Rana Mashhood Ahmed has confirmed that arrest warrants have been issued against Rana Shoaib MPA and action will be taken against him as per the law. The PML-N lawmaker allegedly attacked Kharianwala police station and forcefully released his aides from police custody, during the episode scores of policemen were said to be injured.
Talking to media Rana Mashhood said the inquiry report of the incident provided substantial evidence against the Punjab Assembly member. Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has issued orders of filing FIR against Rana Shoaib for beating policemen and forcefully releasing the accused from police custody.
