At three persons were killed in different incidents of violence in the city while two bodies were recovered, here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue sources, Abid, 45, son of Akram, was shot and killed by unknown persons near Gol market, Nazimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem.
A man, Alamgir son of Shah Jahan, was gunned down by unidentified armed attackers in Sher Khan Colony in Orangi No-4. The body was shifted to ASH for autopsy. In another incident, a man identified as Fida Bux was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Ferozabad in the limits of Ferozabad police station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.
Muhammad Kashif, 30, son of Muhammad Hanif, a resident of Liaqatabad No-10, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling inside his home. The body was moved to ASH for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, body of an unknown woman was recovered from Bilal Colony, Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem.
A local leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Nasib Khan, and another man were shot and injured by unknown armed persons at D-Silva Chowk in North Nazimabad. They were rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Naseeb Khan is said to be the president of ANP D-Silva Unit. Osama son of Aslam was shot and injured by unknown persons near a marriage lawn within the remits of Shahra-e- Noor Jahan police station. He was rushed to ASH for treatment. Noman and Asfand were shot and injured by unknown persons in Karimabad area. They were rushed to ASH for treatment.
