Allied Bank donates Rs 10 million to chief minister's Fund for IDPs

Allied Bank has donated Rs 10 million to Chief Minister's Fund for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The fund was set up by Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab to help arrest the problems being faced by thousands of displaced families of North Waziristan Agency, in the aftermath of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Tariq Mahmood, CEO and Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti, Chief Commercial and Retail Banking, Allied Bank, called on Shahbaz Sharif to deliver the cheque. Allied Bank has always been at the forefront of lending a helping hand to the affected communities in times of natural calamities and other crises, prominent among them being the earthquake in 2005 and nation-wide floods in the following years.
