Local religious and political parties have demonstrated protest in Multan on Friday to denounce the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip which killed more than 800 innocent Palestinians including women and children so far. More than 700 activists took part in three demonstrations. The protestors burnt flags of Israeli and America. The protesters chanted slogans against the Israeli regime.
"We appeal to the Muslims of the world to wake up and stand against the Israel. If Muslim nations across the globe take a joint stand, the problem will be resolved," one religious scholar said. Addressing the protesters, Chief of Shia Ulema Council Allama Mujahid Abbas Gardezi, said, "We demand that the rulers of the Muslim countries should become united for this cause. He said that The Pakistan government has expressed its concern too late and we demand that a National Assembly session should be summoned to pass a resolution against Israel."
