DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf Friday said that the available resources will be utilized to curb crimes and eliminate criminals from the city. Presiding over a meeting here, he directed the SPs to maintain law and order in the city and conduct a meeting in a month to redress complaints of the people as well as personnel's. He also directed all DSPs and SHOs to arrange meetings with cops to redress their problems.
The DIG said that the policemen who perform their duties with responsibility, efficiently and dedication would be appreciated and stern action would be taken against the corrupt and negligent police officers. He further directed the officers to take effective measures to eliminate crimes and criminals. He said that police department was making various arrangements for the welfare of policemen and the families of martyr.
