Applications have been invited from candidates for admission in diploma courses and degree programmes at Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) for academic session 2014-2015. The last date for submitting application form is August 20. This was informed by Professor Anjum Habib Vohra, the Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute, while presiding over a meeting on Saturday which was attended by senior faculty members of the institute.
Professor Vohra said that PGMI in not only an institute for medical education but also a source to promote nationalism and provincial harmony as it provides opportunity to the doctors belonging to all the four provinces and Azad Kashmir. He further said the amount of fees received against various courses and programmes at PGMI are quite affordable as compared to foreign institutes. Doctors should take full advantage of this special consideration and get high professional skills for serving the ailing humanity.
