Pakistan takes part in snipers competition in Kazakhstan

Pakistan has participated in the fifth international competition of snipers in Kazakhstan. Spassk training centre of Kazakhstan hosted the event. During five-day event 40 best snipers from US, UK, Pakistan, Russia, China, Jordan and Kazakhstan took part. Kazakstani won the "Best Sniper" and "Sniper Pairs" titles.
In general all participants accomplished 16 different exercises and demonstrated their accuracy, orientation in the field, endurance, attention and other qualities. In order to conduct the impartial and fairly judgement of the competition, an officer from the Turkish Republic was appointed as the head of referee's board. According to the results of the overall ranking all prize-winning positions were taken by Kazakhstan's security, defence and law enforcement agencies.
The first position took by Kazakhstan sniper pair from special force unit of the Defence Intelligence Agency of Kazakhstan armed forces, second position took by snipers from "Arystan Service" of the National Security Committee, and the third position was taken by snipers from the "State Guard Service" of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also officers from Armenia and India took part as observes of the competition and expressed a desire to send their officers to this competition next year. It was the fifth worldwide competition which was held under the aegis of Central Asia forum of sniper art and global counterterrorism efforts.
